[What is Megami Device?]
Megami Device is a series of plastic model kits based on the concept of a "near-future battle hobby"—featuring 14cm-tall, self-standing robot figures that you can build, customize, and pit against one another, just like traditional plastic model kits.
At the core of each kit is the "Machinika" body—a newly designed, highly articulated base figure created by Masaki Apsy, a leading expert in the field of articulated figures. The characters and mechanical components are designed by a variety of different artists.
The parts are molded in separate colors, and the faces come pre-painted via pad printing, ensuring that the finished model looks great even if you simply assemble it as-is.
The use of 3mm-diameter connection points allows for parts compatibility across the entire series, as well as integration with many existing plastic model parts from other Kotobukiya lines.
