The fourth Megami, equipped with the newly unveiled "Machinika Block2-M" body, is the BUSTER DOLL Paladin!
Designed by Masaki Apsy, the "Machinika Block2-M" is a completely newly developed body featuring a comprehensive overhaul of its internal structure.
Every aspect of the part structure was re-evaluated from scratch, with development focused on maximizing ease of assembly and expandability through part swapping.
Naturally, the proportions have been updated to create even more beautiful lines, offering a fresh and surprising experience for long-time Megami Device fans.
Designed specifically for this new body, the BUSTER DOLL Paladin features a concept design by Megami Device producer Torio Toriyama and mechanical design by Tasuku (who also handled the engineering). This collaboration ensures a more systematic assembly and customization experience compared to previous Megami Device kits.
The character design is handled by Parsley, an artist renowned for captivating illustrations, adding further appeal to this new series.

・Features the completely newly designed "Machinika Block2-M" body, developed with an uncompromising focus on ease of assembly and aesthetic beauty.
・Includes multi-layered armor parts and highly expandable components featuring numerous connection points.
・Comes with costume parts inspired by a blazer, as well as chest and waist parts that allow for assembly as a "pure" unarmored body.
・Includes three types of pre-painted face parts as well as unprinted face parts.
・Recreate "Armed Mode" (with armor) and "Unarmed Mode" (without armor) by swapping parts.・The three types of hand parts are all made of plastic; the weapon-holding hands are designed to accommodate both round and square grips, allowing for easy weapon retention simply by inserting the handle.
・A newly designed dedicated stand is included, offering superior stability for the figure compared to previous stands.
・Featuring 3mm diameter joints and head compatibility, parts can be interchanged with existing series such as "M.S.G," "Frame Arms," "Frame Arms Girl," "Hexa Gear," "Sousai Shojo Teien," and "Arcanadia."
【What is Megami Device?】
This is a plastic model kit series envisioned as a "near-future battle hobby" featuring 14cm-tall, self-standing robot figures that you can build, customize, and battle, just like traditional plastic models.
At its core is the "Machinika" body series—newly designed by Masaki Apsy, a leading figure in the world of articulated figures—while character and mechanical designs are created by a variety of artists.
The parts are molded in separate colors and the faces come pre-painted via tampography, ensuring a finish that closely resembles the intended look right out of the box.
The use of 3mm diameter joint holes ensures compatibility not only within the series itself but also allows for combination with many previously released Kotobukiya plastic model parts.
