Mega Man—Capcom's world-renowned hero—returns as a plastic model kit from Kotobukiya!
Since its debut in 1987, the Mega Man series has achieved cumulative worldwide sales of 44 million units (as of January 2026). Spanning animated adaptations and more, it is a title so popular that it is no exaggeration to call it a "national game" in Japan. Now, the original Mega Man—the starting point of the series—is being released as a plastic model kit.
In addition to articulation gimmicks that allow you to recreate various in-game actions, the Mega Buster is recreated via interchangeable parts, and two types of effect parts—"Normal" and "Charged"—are included.
Three different face parts are also included, allowing you to recreate a wide range of situations to match the action poses.
The eyes feature tampo printing, ensuring a finish close to the original design even without painting; however, decals for the eyes are also included for those who prefer to paint their models.
An "E-Tank" in the same scale is included as well; displaying it alongside the figure further enhances the immersive atmosphere of the series.
Compact and easy to assemble, this product is designed to be enjoyed by a wide range of Mega Man fans, from casual players to hardcore enthusiasts.
