Description
Kotobukiya, a company that has been releasing Evangelion merchandise for many years, is finally releasing a plastic model kit of Evangelion Unit-01 from the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" series.
Sculpted by Kotobukiya's prototype sculptor, Yuichi Kuwamura, who also created the Evangelion Unit-01 from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" films, this model faithfully reproduces the TV version while maintaining a wide range of articulation!
■Gimmick Explanation
Opening Gimmick: Reproduced with articulation. The jaw lowers one step before opening and closing, just like in the film.
Entry Plug Interlocking Movement: The entry plug is pulled out in conjunction with the movement of the back block.
Shoulder Knife Storage Deployment: Reproduced with interchangeable parts.
■Included Wrist Parts
Includes clenched fists (left and right), open hands (left and right), gun/knife holding hand (right), open hands with fingers bent backwards (left and right), and grasping open hands (left and right). With a wide variety of wrist parts made from PVC in a single mold, allowing for rich shaping, assembly time is reduced, and holding power is improved, making it possible to recreate many scenes from the film.
■Partially Painted Parts
Some parts, such as the white of the eyes and the green of the chin tip, are pre-painted, allowing you to recreate Evangelion Unit-01 close to its appearance in the film simply by assembling it.
